A fake phone seller was arrested
On October 6, 2022, an unknown person organized an "Apple-Optomuz" group on "Telegram" and posted an announcement about the sale of "iPhone" mobile phones based on special offers. He deceived the member of this group, living in Tinchlik mahalla, Qarovulbozor district, born in 2005, to pay in parts and asked to transfer money in the amount of 1,000,000 UZS to a plastic payment card as a down payment. He committed the crime of fraud by causing material damage to this citizen.
In this regard, a criminal case was initiated against an unknown person under part 1 of Article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Currently, the investigation of this situation is proceeding.
