An official who tried to take a bribe in exchange for employment was arrested
On January 10, the Department for Combating Illegal Trafficking in Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the MIA of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of the Tashkent Region, conducted a search operation in Almalik city, Tashkent Region, based on the information received.
As a result, an employee of the Mahalla and Family Support Department of Almalik city, born in 1986, living in Almalik, Tashkent region, was seized while accepting a bribe of 1,800 US dollars from a woman in exchange for hiring her son to work at "Almalik KMK" JSC.
On January 10, a criminal case was initiated by the Prosecutor's Office of the city of Almalik in connection with this situation under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
