Biography
Born on January 1, 1961 in the Khorezm region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 1982, after graduating from Tashkent State University, he was sent to the prosecutor's Office of the Khorezm region for further service.
Until 1992, he worked in various positions - assistant prosecutor of the Gurlen district, head of the General Supervision Department of the Prosecutor's Office of the Khorezm region, then prosecutor of the Gurlen district.
In 1992-1999, he worked as the first Deputy governor of Bagat district, Deputy Governor of Khorezm region.
In 1999, he was transferred to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the period from 2000 to 2011, he held senior positions in the prosecutor's office-Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Head of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, Prosecutor of the Jizzakh region, as well as Prosecutor of the Bukhara region.
In 2011, he was appointed First Deputy Governor of the Khorezm region, and in 2012 - Governor of the Khorezm region.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 4, 2017, he was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2019, P. Bobojonov was awarded the special rank of "Lieutenant General".
